Pre-Purchase Building Inspections
So you’ve found your dream home, you’ve been to every open inspection, shown your family and friends and now you’re about to make one of the largest financial commitments most people ever make in their lives.
Let us make sure this story ends with happily ever after.
Our building inspections are fully compliant with the Australian Standard 4349.1-2007
Our Pre-Purchase building inspections are available as a standalone inspection, or in conjunction with a pre-purchase pest inspection.
We have had many people respond that they did not realise that this was in fact two different inspections, so we have put together a short article explaining the key differences between the two types of inspection.
Our inspections are arranged in the following process:
You Decide When You Want to Get The Inspection Done
The most common time for someone to arrange their pre-purchase building inspection is shortly after they have placed an offer.
Regardless of the fact that this is the most common time, there are certainly benefits in having your building inspection done before the actual offer has been placed.
Once you have decided on when you would like to have your inspection completed, you can get a quick quote on gaining the report here.
Our experienced inspectors can talk through your needs and make sure that your report will cover everything you need.
We Arrange with the Real Estate Agent to Gain Access to the Property
During the quotation phase we will have gained the Real Estate agent’s details from you.
There is no need for you to arrange the inspection time with them, we will handle that and make sure that any cooling off periods followed
Generally the agent will be onsite for the duration of the inspection.
Each inspection takes a different amount of time, depending on the size of the property, the detail of report needed and so on. If you are interested, you can read more about how long a building inspection takes here.
Typically we will have the report with you on the same day as the inspection takes place, so that you can use it to it’s fullest advantage in the property buying process.
